Liz Christy is a very talented weaver who is very passionate about handweaving and has developed her craft over the years. She weaves her scarves on a wooden loom powered by hand and foot. She draws her inspiration from both the countryside of County Monaghan and from the impressionist artist Claude Monet. Her choice of yarn colours and combinations are drawn from particular paintings and the wild flowers and shrubs in nature.
